Really.....I'm posting an update...yes....I.....am. I wanted to post a while back with pictures from Korben's b-day and a few others. Then Matt reformatted the computer and LOST a huge folder full of pictures. So needless to say I didn't feel like posting after that. So what has happened since April?! Lots. Some I don't have pictures of but I will try my best to update you all.

JUNE: The first full week of June we went on our annual beach vacation. We went to Ft. Morgan, Alabama again and stayed at a different beach house. Kids loved it, even the eagle's nest on top of the house. You could see the ocean PLUS the lagoon on the other side of the peninsula! By day 3 1/2 I was ready to get back to TN. I have a hard time really relaxing when I am watching two little ones going in and out of the water. No Jellyfish this year. Matt was happy about that!

After the beach for the week we headed up north to Mobile, Alabama to see the USS Alabama ship. It was massive and took most of the day to tour it. Kids had fun exploring and I was beat from carrying Trenton in the Mei Tie carrier most of the way.
The rest of June was spent catching up from vacation and visiting friends. I'm pretty sure Korben stayed at someones house at least every week.

July: Lets see, its hard to remember what aall went on. I guess I need to update at least once a month...haha. I know at the end of July Korben went to Ohio to visit family. Flew on Southwent Airlines by himself for the first time. I think I was more nervous than he was. He did want to pack a ton of stuff to take up there. He wasn't sure if he would have enough army stuff for his cousins to play with him. Of course he had plenty. While Korben was gone for that week, Matt and I was searching to get a van. We found one and got a Toyota Sienna. Its so nice now to have room for the kids to stretch their legs!

August: On August 7th Matt's youngest brother Christopher graduated from the Marines Corps. We left TN on a Wednesday morning we drove 10 hours all the way to Parris Island, SC. That was a long drive but having our new van helped the drive be less stressful. Thursday was Family Day. We woke up early to get on base. They had a small presentation and dismissed the recruits. We walked around the base and had lunch with Chris and caught up with him! It was a nice visit and the kids really enjoyed seeing everything there. We even brought backa few souvieners from the MPX. Everyone got a Marine t-shirt. I got my magnets but realized they got lost somewhere along the trip. The following day we went to Hilton Head, SC so the kids could recoop. They had fun but its deft. nothing compared to the white sands of the Gulf!
The day after we got back Korben had to register for school. He found out he got the 5th grade teacher he REALLY wanted AND his 3rd grade teacher would be his Social Studies teacher. She had left for a year to take care of her son who is was born in November 2008. She wanted to take the year off to take care of him and be a stay at home mom.
September: We have just been going through the daily grind. Focusing on school and taking care of one another. We are trying to avoid this flu that is going around like wild fire. Our neighbors behind us had it the other week. Luckly we have not had any symptoms of it. Julianna has had a little cough and a sore throat but I am pretty sure that has to do with the seasons changing slowly and allergy season picking up! Matt thought he would need surgery on his knee in the beginning of the month but got a second opinion. That Doctor (who has done surgery on tons of Nashville athletes) says he just needs physical therapy and meds for a bit. Thank God on that one! But just less than a week after hearing that great news, Matt hurt his shoulder will sprawling around with the High School wrestlers after his Pee Wee practice. Kid landed on his shoulder and pulled something. So..he is trying to nurse that back into health.
I hope the next few months are illness and injury free. Korben will be starting his wrestling season up pretty soon. Hope he begins to really enjoy it this year. He is hard to motivate sometimes!
At some point I want to put up a few 30 second clips of the kids, and most Trenton talking and acting silly. He is so much like the two other kids all rolled into one!
18 Month Old Stats Trenton: 25.2 lbs and 32.5 inches tall

Extremely behind on updates and pictures. I finally dumped 3 pic cards from the camera to the computer today. There were pics on there from Julianna's Birthday!
Here are a few pictures. Will update soon. Korben's 10th birthday party is tomorrow after church. I had to make everything today. very tired!

Afteer a big fit, she passed out on top of her bookshelf. Its empty because she threw everything off and onto the floor!

Dressed up in her princess costume that she got from our neighbor friends. She had to put it on right away!

Chowing down on his cake!

Who has a 1 year old now?? Me! Isn't it crazy?! At 10:11am Trenton turned 1 years old. Of course he doesn't know it, he just knows people have been giving him extra kisses and singing to him. haha

We are in the weaning process right now. I knew I wanted to shoot for 12 months of him nursing and I reached that goal. My mind was made up last week when he clamped down so hard that he broke skin and I hurt for the entire rest of the week. So now he only nurses right when he wakes up in the morning and before bedtime. He also gets to nurse when he wakes up in the middle of the night which has been a habit for the pass 1 1/2 months. I don't know what is up with him. My guess is his teeth. He finally got his last front tooth to come in all the way. So he has 6 teeth total, which don't feel particularly nice on my flesh.

He hasn't taken any steps just yet. He is slowly starting to let go of things and stand still for a few seconds. Falling down startles him but he recovers quickly from that. haha He is such a little stinker and a complete clone of Korben when Korben was this age.
He got his first haircut the other week. I have a video of him before his cut but I can't upload it for some reason. But his hair literally looked like a 80's boy hair do. Long in the back and just silly looking. Matt gave him the buzz and I trimmed it up later on in the week with Matt's beard trimmer. Trenton was very wiggling and did not like the buzz of the hair trimmer.

Trenton LOVES giving hugs and kisses. Will give you a five if he knows you. He isn't has 'friendly' to strangers. He just won't go to anyone or 'talk' to anyone. He has to make sure you are OK by his standards. I just hope he grows out of the stage where he won't go to anyone because I am unable to go the YMCA and drop him off in the Nursery.

We plan on having his Birthday Party on Sunday. Not sure who is all coming but it should be a decent turn out. I just hope the rain stays away so we can go outside for a bit and enjoy the air.

Oh and here is the birthday invitation that I made to email local family members. I'm going 'green' this year...well maybe just lazy.

Of course the light green markings are put ther for any crazy people that don't know me. Didn't want to post that!
I wanted to talk about this for a while now. What I wanted to say, I posted in one of my playgroup message boards so I will just copy and paste it here. Its a Rant...so sorry in advance.

I am getting really frustrated with TN schools. I am wanting to get Julianna into a school setting for next year. I want her to go to preschool at a school 5 days a week so Kindergarten will not be so shocking to her. BUT I am not low income, she has no disabilities or she is not an at-risk child so she can not go to Preschool. I think that is a bunch of crap and it pisses me off to no end. Why should I have to pay for my child's early education? Doesn't she deserve to be taught at a school like other kids who will more than likely be in her kindergarten class the following year? I emailed the Pre-K teacher at Smyrna Primary where it said they were a Title I school. This means that kids can be excepted into the program no matter what, but the lower income and at risk kids are enrolled first. The teacher informed me that they will only be excepting children that are excepted into the free and reduce lunch program.
My family in Ohio can't believe that TN does not cater to every child for preschool. Ohio has an open preschool program for every child.
This whole Pre-K program in TN is probably one of the reasons that TN is low in the rating for excellent schools. Heck I even looked at Lancaster Christian School....just to see what their price was for a 5 days preschool...$153 a week..with adding in a $100 registration fee, $30 supply fee and a $60 yearly book fee.

So all of you that are not in TN are very lucky for your great school system. With the way people are handling this whole crappy economy situation, the middle class is getting to become the lower class and the lower class are becoming the poor.

Last week I tried to get a video up of Trenton. But for some reason it wasn't wanting to load. So I attempted an update but failed. haha

Lets get to the Kiddos updates!

Korben:
He is doing good. Still in wrestling. He has gotten 3 medals so far. The first one was a beginners tournament where everyone got one. Then he received 2nd place at another tournament and 1st at Clarksville tournament. Last Saturday he got 4th. He seems to enjoy the whole winning something but doesn't really have his heart in the sport. I think he could do alot better. The one tournament he let 5 guys pin him. That is not like Korben. I told Matt that Korben is probably like me and doesn't really have an athletic bone in his body.
School is doing ok. He has been slacking on his homework which in turn makes for poor test grades. He has gotten into the idea that he can get his homework done in the mornings when they are in the gym before being dismissed to their rooms. I need to nip that habit in the butt because I did the samething and would wait to finish my homework in the morning.
He is out of school today because of President's Day. Its been a long day with him home. I have been trying to get over a bug of some sort that I ended up with all day yesterday, so today has been a challenge with all the kids home.

Julianna:
She enjoyed a V-Day party with a local playgroup. She was all excited and was looking forward to the music and flowers and balloons. I think she has watched too many commercials. haha But she wasn't disappointed when we got to the party (30 minutes late) and there wasn't any music or anything. I think the cupcakes won over it all. She ended up with a bruised bottom lip that I was for sure was going to bleed....but didn't. After 15 minutes of her crying and being mad she was over it and went back to play. Lately she has been my little back talker and doesn't like to be told what to do. So her little rear end has been in the corner quite a lot these days.

Trenton:
He is still happy until his teeth start to bother him. His bottom two teeth have been in for a while. He has 3 top teeth through and are waiting for his other front tooth to come in to make 4 top teeth all the way through. He went through a 3:30am wakings for a few weeks which kind of drained me. I wasn't use to getting up that early in the morning. Of course he woke up that early last night while I was sick and achey. That my friends was not a fun morning. He is still Mr. Clingy and won't go to anyone but Matt or I. His 1st Birthday is coming up soon but I haven't even started on getting anything planned. I will most likey have a Sunday party since there is a good chance Korben will have a wrestling tournament that Saturday.

Attempted to take a few pictures of the two oldest in front of the tree after they decorated it. This is what I got. Notice Julianna's finger. Korben was whispering in her ear earlier...I figure he told her to do this.

Here is Julianna and her Gingerbread House. She got to decorate it at one of the local community parks for free! She had sooo much fun..making it and eating it. lol

Here are a few Christmas Pictures. They are not the best but hey it was all a blur and I was lucky to get any. lol

BEFORE the unwrapping rampage!

That was Julianna's favorite thing. A Wooden Princess Castle. It is pretty neat! Amber, its a Melissa and Doug product too. Can you tell what kind of toys I like?! lol

Korben's favorite, if you can tell, was his NERF gun.

Trenton liked anything he could put in his mouth, which was EVERYTHING!
